Under Construction - December 2016

Tuesday, December 20, 2016

This is our first 'Under Construction' post, giving you a look into the projects we are currently working on and some progress pictures from the various sites.

We currently have three projects on the go. The first is a new build in Brighton, where we are working with some lovely clients and Parbrook Homes to complete a double storey luxury home.

We are currently at the stage where we are ready to pour the concrete slab foundations before christmas. This has been much anticipated as the builder has faced some difficult weather (seriously where has the sun been Melbourne?) and problematic soil conditions. However, we have some very excited clients who are looking forward to seeing the outline and beginnings of their new home before the end of the year. Now we can only go onwards and upwards.. quite literally!

The home is due to be completed by mid 2017. Here are some pictures.

This is our second project in Elwood, a small extension to a single storey house.
Being such a tight site, it was crucial to maximise the space and get the most out of the layout for a growing family. We created a new open plan kitchen, living and dining space, a new bathroom, laundry, walk-in-robe and en-suite!

Here are some pictures of the almost completed project with just a few finishing touches left to do - you can see the space is almost ready for the family to move in and enjoy their new extension!

Our final project, completed this month, is our Prahran Project.

This was a double storey extension on a Wheatherboard house, which we transformed from a three bedroom single storey house into a four bedroom plus a study, double storey home! The extension houses a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space on the ground floor and two new bedrooms, a bathroom and rumpus on the second storey. We also took on an internal renovation to the original front half of the home, transforming the master bedroom into a master suite with a new walk-in-robe and en-suite.

We are hoping to get some photos of the finished Prahran project to show you in the near future.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, there will be more blog posts in 2017!
